Bismillah-Ir-Rahman-Ir-Raheem,

The recent $700 billion bailout rewards swindlers and those knee deep in Riba. This economic rescue is for those who have made a living on finance capital, at the expense of the poor and working class.

There is never enough money, according to u.s. politicians, for social programs and human needs. Education is constantly slashed, millions have absolutely no health insurance, even veterans returning from the imperialist holocausts in Iraq and Afghanistan are denied health care! Suddenly, $700 billion is available for Wall Street and this government ALWAYS has trillions of dollars to continue funding the murder and pillage of Islamic peoples and properties.

Maybe I just don't have enough information but I've yet to see any outrage from the Ulama, Islamic clerics and Islamic leaders. Especially when we are dealing with demands of those steeped in riba: Give us the money NOW, or thing will get real bad! What was the hurry? Haste is from the Shaaitan. Bush said to be afraid and let this bill pass. Bush told us to be afraid of "weapons of mass destruction", in Iraq. He tells us to be afraid of Iran. I may not know much, but I do know this: when Americans are afraid, we are at our worst.

What about all those people who lost life savings and pensions because of the Enron debacle? Were they bailed out? Those of us who have lost jobs because it is cheaper to produce in other places--will we be bailed out? Immigrants who come here to feed and support their families suffer humiliating raids at their workplaces and deported-- will they be bailed out? Those of us who have lost homes, evicted, laid off, had cars reposessed, etc. have no parachutes.

Shame on all Senators and Congressional representatives who have signed the bailout. If we fail to speak against this tyranny and all the tyranny they promote will surely be punished with them by Allah (SWT), just as the people of Firaun were punished for "going along", with them. Shame on all of us who profess Islam yet fail to speak out against the Holocaust of the peoples of Palestine, Chechnya, Somalia, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, Uigherstan, etc.; in wars that are financed by the very people who were just given a blank check to continue their mischief.

I still want to hear what the Ulama in Saudi Arabia, the Ayatollahs in Iran and Iraq, and all Islamic leaders have to say about the bailout of the bloodsuckers.

Allah is punishing u.s. imperialism. We have to be visible and vocal about where we stand on such issues. The good news is that a new day is coming---Insha'Allah, the Mahdi will come, but are we ready?

This topic is topsy turby, and filled with much concern. But in my own opinion it is a direct result of unchecked capitalism and the expliotive nature of this old form of free market commerce. It is a dying system that needs abolition. It would do well to inquire about the financial method of Sharia, and how it is applied in lives of working people. This whole situation is unparalleled in economic history, and all of the bandaid approaches will not work. The things we should be focused on we dont and we stay in a frenzy. Masalam
