Hello, all. I'm new to the board (and the apparent drama between the warring factions at the Islamic Center!) and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nick, I'm twenty-six and originally from Ohio. I'm interested in Islam and am currently trying to learn Arabic. Would anyone be willing to help me with the language?

I don't have much in the way of money, but I can help with your French or English or buy you coffee if all you can offer is your views on Middle Eastern issues - I'd really, really appreciate it!

you can read the crescent international magazine online..it has lots of news on the middle east issues and lots more... about the language..hmm...would like to help with the basics...maybe you can send me your email adress or if you have facebook it would better...
